Where was the SUNSHINE?

I was really hoping for some SUNSHINE today....But that was not meant to be! The forecaster LIED to me! Nancy and I had big plans to take the babies for a walk. Lets just say the closest we made it to outside was the backyard to pickup sticks in the rain! A bit disappointing!

I haven't blogged in a few days, so let me start by saying....Lindsey don't freak out when you see the next pic!

There is nothing I can do about it... She watches Hayden and just wants to do what her brother is doing! That was Friday night..After Josh fixed the living room lights and hid the ladder we had Banana Splits!

Saturday we went to see Gam...And since Josh and I ate all the Cinnamon Rolls from Tuesday we just had to make more!

It was nice to have the mess at mom's house and NOT mine this time! Especially with the 20lb bag of flour Hayden was dippin out of!

After we made a mess of the kitchen we moved to a different room so we could sew!

Don't let the pictures fool you it went as well as you can imagine. There was a lot of "Hayden do it" and "Hayden Cut it" and " Hayden measure it"...It was a miracle that I was able to cut out both curtains and the pillowcases. Mom even managed to sew the pillowcases before we were overwhelmed by needy babies and gave up!

Velvet and Hayden were all about the boxes again...And if anyone out there has tips for keeping hair bows in I am ALL ears!!!

Once we were home from Gam's....Who called us...Nancy! She said she would come see us and bring Hayden's new frames her dad made for his NEW room! They are awesome! The puzzles turned out great in the frames! I cant wait to paint. Things are really coming together!

The highlight for the kids was that Nancy brought the puppy...and Garth. Hayden had some issues...But really what is new with that!

That pretty much sums up Saturday! Of course Nancy and I did make plans for a nice walk to the park today...And mom and I were possibly going to take the kids over to feed the ducks!

We fell short on the fun here! Velvet is getting some teeth and is CRANKY! I am not feeling so great so I suppose I am cranky too.... Hayden was extra cuddly today! Nancy got tons of hugs and loves today!

The rest of the day was pretty dull, but restful. Velvet did manage to fall off the bench in the kitchen, but recovered quick. Unfortunately she was in the bathroom and was playing on Hayden's potty fell off and busted her face! Bloody lip, 3 times it size! Teeth still in tact! That was the good news! I think this is the worse boo-boo we have had so far! I am thinking we are going to have a ugly day tomorrow! Oddly enough she could still suck that bink! Babies!
