Lights out.....

Well I had planned to write last night, but after our windy day it just wasn't meant to be. Our power went out around 3pm and didn't come back on til after we went to bed. Velvet was having a nap when the storm blew in but Hayden, mom and I were upstairs working on boards. Hayden was watching the wind blow. We manage to acquire a few extra's in our back yard.

Someones tent....

The neighbors tarp broke our fence....

My bush was uprooted...

Luckily that was all for us...our neighbor had a little tree on there house...

It was all pretty exciting. We had dinner on the BBQ grill with Gam and Pappy here. The grocery store gave you a flashlight to shop...That was also a highlight. For bath-time the kids had some GLOW sticks left over from Christmas that was also a big hit.

It really was dark in the bathroom the camera has a good flash!

After that the kids had these long flashlight sticks that I got them for Valentines day that they chased each other around the house with. Through the tunnel Everywhere screaming and yelling..It was really funny. I thought that they would be scared, but they didn't seem to be bothered at all. It was actually a nice chance from what we normally do!

Today we got up and had to take gas to Gam's house. They do not live in town so they still didn't, and don't have lights! Best case scenario is tomorrow evening. There were trees and power lines down in multiple places. We spent most of the day there then came home to work upstairs....What a JOKE...

Not everyday is a work upstairs day!

Yes that is her eating the ladder, falling down, tripping, crying for no reason, crying because she hit herself with the hammer, because Hayden dropped something from the ladder on her...You name it it happened tonight! We did not get much done! It was a disaster! See Lindsey not every day is a good day!

She did start out happy this morning when it was just her and I awake....

And YES no one got dressed today. It was a Pajama Day! See ya tomorrow with some more good pictures!
