Today we took the kids to the Discovery Village today. Velvet was a little small for it, but she had a good time. Hayden was overwhelmed and just went from one thing to another! All in all it was a good day!
Velvet was Row Row Rowing her boat... For those of you who have seen her do that it is seriously funny! We have also mastered Ring Around the Rosie, and are currently working on The Itsy Bitsy Spider. I just LOVE them so much! Babies are GREAT
The swings were Velvet's Favorite! at first she was unsure then it was all smiles and screams!
There was a dinosaur room. Velvet HATED it! I tried to get her to go on the slide and she had a meltdown...Her and I didn't stay long.
Velvet loved the cow until it would Moooo at her then she would run crying...
By this time the kids were starving...Mostly Velvet so we left to find food. The nice thing is that they stamp your hand and you can come and go all day.
The kids were pretty much exhausted after that so we decided to call it a day and head home. I hit every fabric and quilt shop between here and Keizer looking for "Under the Sea" material for Hayden's room and NO one had anything!
Once we got home the kids were awake and ready to go! Josh and Hayden hit the Hardware store while Velvet and I cleaned up the house a bit. Then we went upstairs to make some saw horses...
Velvet was all about lifting this board. There was a lot of grunting.. It was VERY funny. She has been watching her dad and brother to much!
After a while Velvet just sat in the corner and played with a bag of nails... I sanded some boards, and Josh built the saw horses. Hayden annoyed us all....
That was pretty much our day! Lots of pics today! Enjoy them! I know I enjoyed taking them! Nancy and I will have to take them and go again! I have started a list of all the fun places I want to take them! I am hoping to afford one fun outing a month! As far as the kids are concerned our feeding the ducks outing was great so I am sure we can come up with something! Its getting late so Good Night!
Glad you guys are feeling better!
