Tuesday I took Velvet to the Dr. for her rash. Dr has no idea what it is or what has caused it. She said it is very much like shingles, but assured me that is not what it is. We got some cream, and I hope that it clears it up. She isn't bothered by it...Just her mom!
She refused to keep the shoes on...
My parents were in town and mom offered to swing by and take Hayden so I wouldn't have to take them both to the Dr.'s appt...Who am I to turn down a wonderful offer like that! In the mean time while I was getting V and I ready...Hayden was in the bathroom dipping into the LIPSTICK! He came out proud as you please sporting the pinkest shade of lipstick I own!
That same night Josh and I decided to go to Home Depot. So around 7pm we all loaded up and went to the "parts store" as Hayden has deemed it. The kids LOVED it. Plus we went so late that the store was almost empty, so the kids sort of ran wild!
Once we got home it was nite-nite for the babies. Josh and I had a lot of fun with them! They are so sweet! We got stuff to keep Josh busy all week! I figured there would be less distractions if we went to visit Gam Wednesday.
Today the kids and I helped out upstairs a BUNCH! I know how Josh LOVES that!
I am VERY happy with the progress this week! Josh got half the 2nd room insulated, we got a few sheets of drywall hung, and he got all the electrical in. Some days I can't believe how much we manage to get done when the kids are so needy and frustrating, but we manage to distract them with all kinds of things, some safe some probably not. I am sure we will all live through this remodel even though some days I want to SCREAM! Tomorrow I work so I should get things together for that! Happy Friday!
GET HAYDEN OFF THAT LADDER AND AWAY FROM THE DRILL!!!! I am having a heart attack.
