On the other hand I love it when Nancy comes to see us, because it is not like entertaining a guest. I go about my daily chores and duties. She plays with the kids, and chips in to help me. It is just like having my mom come and I enjoy it VERY much! Today my agenda consisted of cleaning Max's cage (our 1 little fish), and changing out the kids toys. I know I am a bit anal, but the kids lose interest in there toys after a few months and I box them up and trade them out in the garage for a different set of toys. Normally I wait till the kids are gone and do it, but today Nancy, Hayden, and I did it while V was nappin.
There was a slinky in the box and Nancy showed him how to make it go down the stairs!
We had lots of fun, but she had to leave sort of early....Hayden was sad. He would have kept her here much longer! Thank goodness for all the new toys to distract them! Velvet and Hayden LOVED the tunnel. They played with it forever! Mom is bringing the tent back here tomorrow so that should be fun! One more huge thing we don't really have room for, but the kids LOVE it! They also love this other little 3 sided play cube thing I got at a garage sale for 5$! They will be happy for weeks with there new (old) toys!
They also tried on hats, fought each other with mops and brooms, and Velvet finally got her hands on the coveted sunglasses!
Last but not least first thing this morning...Velvet came out of her bedroom like this! It was priceless....She really LOVES her binks.
Well that is all for today. Tomorrow Hayden and I will be cleaning. Then we are going to try and do some work upstairs. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
