Nancy came to play!

Saturday started a bit disappointing...I was hoping for sunshine, but soon Nancy text and said she was going to visit us, so that helped create some sunshine! Hayden rummaged through her bags of goodies...He loved the material and patterns the most, Velvet was more interested in the tootsie rolls!

Nancy made us some Nummy chicken noodle soup for lunch! After Velvet went down for her nap, we went out to work in the yard.

Hayden played with all the bugs and worms we found. He tried to help a lot.

Nancy couldn't say long she had lots to do today so we sent her off, but we had tons of fun having her! Plus we got a bunch done outside which was GREAT!

Just before Velvet woke up...Hayden shut his fingers in the door. After getting him settled in on the couch with something to drink and a snack, he fell asleep... Not ideal, but O well. I just left him there and took V outside!

Once Daddy came home nap time for Hayden was OVER...He woke him right up. It wasn't pretty, but after we all got back outside life was good!

I must say the kids were angels yesterday about being outside! I got so much done! The back yard might actually look good this year! I stayed out extra long since we had lots of soup left we had that for dinner with Grilled Cheese Sandwiches!
