The Skate Park, New Fish, & a Practice Egg Hunt!

Well First thing this morning Velvet had her 15 month well baby check up at the Doctors office! Her, Hayden and I went over and that went great! No waiting to get in! Our biggest issue was that I need to put lotion on her twice a day instead of just once! She is only 19lbs 12oz, and 30 1/2 inches tall. We did get one shot, but I was prepared with M&Ms so the crying lasted all of 5 seconds!

Once we left there Hayden was all about the SKATE PARK! I got him a tiny skate board for Christmas after I caught him trying to skate on a key chain. Yes I am serious! When we make it over to Albany I take him to the Skate Park by Habitat for Humanity and he will watch the kids forever and NEVER want to leave! The kids there probably think I am nuts to just pull up open the hatch and let my kids ogle them! There is a small skate park here in Sweet Home that I will drive by so Hayden can see the kids, but 9 times out of 10 there is no one there!...I told him that on our way home we would stop, get Daddy and, go to the skate park! (We already had the skateboard since we had to take it all the way to the Dr.s with us.)

We started out by crying! He is a timid little thing!

Velvet thought the field trip was fun!

Once V was on the skateboard Hayden decided maybe it wasn't all that scary after all!

We left there and headed to the Hardware store for some new clippers and some grass seed. I also found some great gladiola bulbs. I can't wait to plant them!
Then we went to the feed store to get a few new FISH! We got 2 feeder goldfish and a sucker fish to help me keep it clean! Hayden helped me clean the tank!

Max seems to be doing well with his new room mates! If all goes well with my cheap fish I promised Hayden we would scout some garage sales for a bigger tank! He really loves watching them!

After Velvet's nap, I decided we should have a practice run for the Easter Egg Hunt. Nancy, Gam, and I are taking the kids to Sankey Park Saturday for a hunt! I figured it might be nice to have a idea of what to do before we get there! Hayden is READY! Velvet....Needs some more practice!

What a busy day! We had lots of fun though! Hayden is out changing the oil in my car with Josh and Velvet and I are cleaning up and making dinner! And sneaking some computer time! Most of my blogs are done around 10:30 at night, but I got a jump on things today!
