Staying Busy!

We have been trying to stay busy, but the rain is making that hard! When it isn't raining we can be found outside...at least for a little while!

Yesterday we braved the weather to blow bubbles....

After a while we decided to have a field trip to the feed store.

We came home with 4 new chicks!

Hayden does great with the little ones, Velvet well....As you can see things could have been better! One is a little squeezed and is missing some feathers!

I tried to read the mail, but had some help!

That was short lived because those little black ones tried to pluck the mole off my arm with there VERY sharp little beak! Back in the box you go!

While V was nappin Hayden and I made Noodles for dinner!

Then it was back to chicks!

I suppose I should be happy with the little chicks! In a few days I will ship them to moms, and they will no longer live here! Hayden originally wanted a Rat, Mouse, and Guinea Pig...At the feed store! Maybe later... Him and Bun Bun are currently at odds! Bun Bun has finally decided to fight back! When the kids chase her she will raise up on her back legs and scratch them. Hayden runs screaming. It is a bit funny! I figure what goes around comes around! Maybe we can find someone to let us borrow a lamb for a while! That might be fun for them!

Well Today was much the same as yesterday. Hayden ate breakfast with his chick!

Gave the chick a ride on the skateboard!

Once he was off I caught V giving it a try!

Then Nancy came to show us her new car! It is very nice! Hayden was extra naughty today, and had to spend a few minutes in the time out chair! Felt like a eternity for me as well as him I am sure! All that crying...All I had him do was sit in a chair! Him and his dad can discuss his bad manners tonight!

Nancy and I herded them outside! There is no rain today!

So far a great day, minus Hayden's attitude! Him and V are both napping currently....How you ask. Well there was a incident that included the words: apple juice, my couch, and on purpose! No details needed I am sure!

In all seriousness it is a good day! Kids make messes. Accidents happen, and unfortunately so does ON purpose! I often wonder what I use to do that kept me so busy... I always thought I was busy. I suppose I now know what busy is! All the things that I use to love to do, and thought I had to do! Have now moved to the back burner, and I know what is most important to me! I try to include my babies in every thing I do, they are growing so fast, and I don't want to miss anything! So far the one thing I miss the most is scrapbooking! I started a book for both kids, but with having no place currently with the remodel there is no where to have anything that is safe from "help". The blog has really helped me with that! It is like a online scrapbook! I am sure that I will get them done one of these days...I am determined! But for now I am happy with my blog and will continue with it to make me happy. I hope along the way it makes you smile too!

If not this will. This is my current "craft room" upstairs in the garage. When I want something I drag it out and then it gets tossed in a heap when I am done because I cant take both kids up there. It is surprising I can ever make anything nice!
