Dinosaur Eggs!

Today was part one of making our dinosaur eggs! It was interesting! I always like to involve Velvet even when the project is over her skill level! Lets face it who in there right mind lets a 1.5 year old do paper mache?

The balloons were a big hit!

Velvet and I tore the paper! Hayden wanted to save it all so that wasn't working for me!

I mixed up the "goop" and we were ready! Lets just say Velvet is not afraid to get her hands dirty, slimmy , sloppy or otherwise! Hayden was never without his "wipe" as he calls it. We all had it everywhere...Not Hayden.

At this point Velvet had to be CLEANED!

Hayden was happy to continue on for quite a while..Off and on!

After we made a ton of those we went out side! The Chicks got moved out to there new home! The Chicken Coop!

The sun was shining today, but it wasn't warm! The kids didn't want to come in but I was freezing! Once we got home we went out to mow the lawn! Hayden taught Velvet everything he knows about raking and shoveling!

We had a very busy day! Tomorrow we are having a play date with Lindsey, Taylor and Presley! I am very excited! I think Hayden is too! We filled out our Easter cards today, and one was VERY loved! I said who is getting that one! He said...Taylor! It was very cute! It is getting late Good night!

I will keep you posted on part 2 of the egg project! Painting them should be fun!
