I had planned on going to my moms this morning and working on some projects there with her. Her and I like to dabble in pretty much everything. Cooking, sewing, gardening, you name it we do it or will try it. I got the kids all excited about going to Gam's house, packed our stuff to the car, and then when I went to start the car.....I had no key. I remembered that when I came home Saturday the kids were both asleep, so I slipped the keys apart, so I could unlock the door, and unload the car. I figured it must just be floating around in my purse....NOPE. So Hayden and I searched for 2 hours and then I gave up! The sad part was both kids were so excited about going that they cried at the door and told me go bye-bye for a while...But once I got them excited about the tearing apart our house to find the hidden key, and that seemed to calmed them down.
I never did find the stinkin key...Josh has one so he is going to share his with me although he is reluctant. He seems to think that I am a bit scattered since we have had children!
It ended up being a good thing that we stayed home! The weather was awesome! I still had those 2 trees to trim and it is always nice to get the kids out of the house. Hayden, Velvet, and I tackled the next smallest tree....
After 2 hours the tree still looked the same, but there was a lot on the ground!
Hayden fell down twice, and hurt his finger and I accidentally let a branch or two hit him so he was done and said we had to come in! It must have been hard work because before I new it he fell asleep on the couch!
After naps and dinner...We had Milkshakes!! I know it appears that the kids are always eating sweets, I am trying to fatten them up!
With that extra added energy we decided to go upstairs and try to lay some flooring!
Hayden and Velvet found a LadyBug.
And the last cute thing of the night....While I was picking out boards to lay, Hayden was doing something he has seen me do a hundred times! Sit on this bucket and sand boards! It was so funny!
Well wish us luck getting to Gam's tomorrow. I will try not to lose Josh's Keys. Although I am almost positive I had a little help losing MINE!
I'm sure you had help misplacing the key...
