Velvet LOVES Ducks!

Yesterday we fed the ducks! Lately it is all Velvet talks about...Ducks quack-quack. I thought that she might be a bit scared of 90 ducks swarming us for our food, but she nor Hayden seemed to mind at all!

This Duck was Velvet's little friend it stayed really close, because when she "threw" the cereal it would only go about 6-12 inches from her....

The mud on the other side of Hayden got the best of him....Shouldn't chase the DUCKS!

Everything was really good except Hayden did like to chase them.... Big surprise there! And after he fell in the mud he was a bit upset! All in all it was very fun. We will be feeding the Ducks again soon!

The rest of the day Nancy and I managed to do quite a bit of shopping! I was very happy with all the good stuff I found! Lots of deals! I found both kids a pair of shoes at Target for $1.98 a piece! They stomped all over in them last night! Velvet's are to big, but since brother was wearing his just try and explain to her she cant wear hers!

Please overlook the fact that they both look dirty and homeless! Josh worked late last night and I let them "Run Wild" When they play by themselves and don't want me I can overlook A LOT!! They both fell asleep on the way home from town so I didn't bother to wake them...Who said that 4:30 naps were bad? I finally woke them up at 6:30 and when Josh came home at 9 you could tell he was annoyed with me! O well I really didn't care, and do you know why......GUESS WHO SLEPT ALL NIGHT! First time this month!

I felt like a million bucks today! I cleaned the whole house, and trimmed the 3 smallest of our 5 fruit trees. I did get some help from Hayden! He is such a good little helper! I cut them, and he would ask..."Mommy who is going to clean up this mess!" It was very cute! He helped me pile all the branches into a pile maybe we will get them picked up later this week! I find that pacing myself is good!

My parents came to visit this afternoon and brought my nephew. That was a big hit for Hayden he LOVES Michael! He tried to engage him in all sorts of activities but Micheal was not very interested! This is the best they could do!

Michael really enjoys animals and since they don't have any at his house he always gets Bun out! He even helped me cut her nails! That was nice since everyone else was afraid of getting bit! Another 20 times and she should have a normal set of nails! I have been a bit neglectful!

Well the kids are in bed, and I have a good book! Have a good President's Day!
