SICK BABIES

Well yesterday Hayden came down with a fever....By bedtime last night Velvet also had one...What a shock! Needless to say it is twice as hard to keep sick kids happy. Today Hayden started out crying about everything! I was tired of that by around 7:45, so I decided we should clip coupons. Hayden LOVES to do this, because I normally wait til I have a lot then make a huge mess! Today was no different. It may have been worse. To keep him happy we chased each other around the house with huge armfuls of papers and threw them at each other while screaming!

That was great fun for Hayden. Velvet got knocked down once, and decided that was not for her, so she hid out in Hayden's room and looked at books!

Then her and Hayden and I read Lots and Lots of books.....I am getting really tired of a select few!

Then we all danced to some great 80's music...Sorry no pics for that... That would be well NOT CUTE. The babies think that is really great. The whole time I have Velvet he is yelling "No me, or My turn" and when I put Velvet down to pick up him she holds her arms out the hold time saying "UP"! Unfortunately after about 2 songs I am shot so we have to take a break!

Then we had to get ready to make lunch! I couldn't even believe that it is already so late. Yesterday I moved the bench back over in front of the counter so the kids can stand at it while I am in the kitchen. It was a lifesaver when Hayden was Velvet's age, so I am hoping it really helps with how needy she is when I am trying to make lunch and dinner. So far so good it is working just like it did for Hayden! I am a little concerned about her falling off, but so far so sticks close to the counter. My mom was hysterical, but we are 2 very different people.

Well they are napping and resting, so I have a few things to do! The Bunny jumps up every time I walk by so I am assuming she is wanting me to go out in the rain and cut her some grass. I promised Josh I would gather up all the tax info and make a appt. to get them done some time next week. Then there is always that mound of laundry and dishes that never goes away! I did finish my book last night so if I have time I am going to pick out a new one. Talk to you all later.
