The things we can do when we have SUN!

We may have done this a bit backwards..... One morning this week the kids drug out the foot bath, so we all took turns using it. The kids thought it was wonderful and have wanted to use it everyday since!

This should have been the first pic, but I was to lazy to change them! They really do LOVE each other!

So we had our pedicures....Then they promptly went out to mow the lawn with dad...

We should have saved the foot bath for last!

Our Ducks are doing good, but I am thinking about relocating them to Grama's. Once things calm down I will talk her into it.

We have still been working on the kitchen at the new house. The wallpaper steamer was again a lifesaver!

We are going to have to sand a little, then paint. We picked out a green color. I hope she likes it.

We are still working at home on the addition to the patio out back. Hayden as always is helping.

My pallet table is in the works. Hayden and I pulled a bunch of nails and picked out some good boards. Josh slapped it together.

Hayden and I stained it..

It is not quite finished, but for a free patio table I think it is GREAT!

While everyone was working Velvet was "resting"! She is pathetic!

O yes and we finished the parkway! Yeah!

Today mom and I did a bit of sewing. I found a project where you sew together pillowcases to make a little bed for kids. We only got one finished...Just so they could fight over it! We also moved a bunch of her stuff from one house to the other. Hayden and I mowed the lawn a bit, we saw a snake, but we just weren't fast enough. Maybe next time we will catch it. We also made Jell-o cookies today. They are interesting. If anyone wants to give them a try:

Jell-O Cookies
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 – 3oz. pkg of Jell-O
Cream the above ingredients.  Add:
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream the eggs and vanilla into the sugar mixture.  Add:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Mix well.  The dough will be fairly soft, but not sticky.  You don’t need to refrigerate the dough before rolling.  I like to use a scoop to make my cookies more uniform in size.
Pre-heat oven to 400°.  Roll dough into 1″ to 1 1/4″ balls and then roll in a bowl with about 1/2 cup of granulated sugar in it, completely covering the exterior of the dough ball.  Place on the pan about 2″ apart.  Using a flat-bottomed glass (or bowl) press the dough to about a 3/8″ thickness.
We made Lime....They are Very Lime flavored!

I still have a million project and crafts from pintrest to do, and I have the cutest bird feeder project you make out of a milk carton. I am thinking Taylor and Presley will LOVE it! I hope they are ready for a play date!

Last but not least this is for you ANGIE! Fresh Strawberries are out and WE are LOVING them!
