Just when things are looking up!

Things here have actually been really good! Josh and I started pouring concrete in our parkway...

We plan to finish it up this weekend, if weather allows.

Josh got a bunch of free pallets from work and I found a website to make things out of pallets, so I am making a outside table. It started off really well! Hayden was helping...Velvet was not... I was really worried about V being in the way so I was constantly telling her to stay in the house or in the grass. I should have been worried about my OTHER kid because he is the one that STEPPED on the nail.... Yep! Never a dull moment! Old rusty nail in a board... in at least 1/4 maybe 1/2 inch into his foot. I had to pull it off! It was fabulous! Put a damper in the table, but it was a good learning lesson! He promptly told me he was NOT going to do that again!

Here is the web site for all you D-I-Yers! I think it is cool and free. When it is finished I will post a pic!

One of my other projects is in the works! We put up a new mail box, so I am using the old one for Hayden. A few weeks ago when Nancy and I had the kids out for a walk I ask some people if I could have one that was in the trash (I have no shame, I know). Anyway Velvet is getting pink one and Hayden's will be red. I am going to hang them on the fence so the kids can put sidewalk chalk and toys in them. More free projects! The paint was left over from the swingset! I cant wait for more SUNSHINE!

We had Hoppy Bun Clover in last night she is such a sweet Bunny we are Loving her!

I have been trying to get Baby Moo on grain for the 3pm feeding instead of the bottle. Talk about a MESS! After 30 minutes with him I need a new set of clothes, and yesterday I managed to get a fat lip! Now that he is a moms in the barn I miss him! I told Josh last night we needed to Move...He said NO!

Mom got one coat of varnish on the floor. I think it is so nice! Compared to before it is beautiful!

Things have just been going to good. I knew it wouldn't last, and it isn't! Just when mom is getting excited about the new house, and happy with where she is living. Life is getting back to normal, well other than us working ourselves to death. My Grama's Estate, my dad, and my aunt, are all being sued for about 1 million dollars in total. I told dad it is almost laughable! Since the fire we have just about nothing left! Except for the "farm" now that Grama is gone, and apparently someone else thinks they need that! I find it all just FRUSTRATING! Wish us luck! We may need it!
