A day in the Woods!

Last week Josh was off for Vacation! First of all there is nothing more frustrating than having someone extra in your space for 9 days! On the plus side however it was a very productive "vacation"! This is the only thing that happened over the 9 days that was pleasure or leisure!

We took the kids up Wiley Creek to play in the water!

This is my favorite moment! Hayden gets his eye on a few salamanders! He asks me if I will get him one, but he had to crawl over there so I decline and tell him it is right in front of you just grab him!

Look at that face! PRICELESS!

It was great fun if you are into wildlife! We saw all kinds of stuff.

I spent most of the time in my lawn chair! Resting! I knew when we got back home play time would be over!

The kids thought it was great! My car probably not! Nothing can be easy! Josh always finds the road less traveled. I have to say it was a awesome spot!

With the rest of the days off we were working on the fence!

If you asked Josh well there would be a long story about how hard I make EVERYTHING! But the fence is going well! I would pay the price over again now that I see it hung! It is a 99% privacy chain link fence. We have one side completely finished.

One side we just started yesterday!

This is a before pick of the wood fence. It was here when we bought our house 13 years ago, so it was time to go!

We are pouring a concrete curb in two pieces that the fence sits on. It is VERY time consuming, but it will cut down on weeds and VARMINTS!  Which lately we have had a LOT of !

Here is one! We have a whole family of nutria! They are almost pets now! As you can see they are just hanging out while we work. Not scared a bit! We are also currently having a raccoon problem and not to long ago possum! As far as I am concerned this fence can't go up fast enough!

Another 3 or 4 weeks and it should be done! The weather has been so good to us! Concrete is best poured not in the rain!

Once we are finished I promised Josh a real Vacation! We deserve it! This fence business is HARD!

The front yard was easy to finish! No Curb! Took less than 2 days. The hard part is definitely the concrete work.
