Hayden is under the impression since you don't have to go to school for Christmas and New Years that ALL holidays get you out of school.....Poor Kid! He has a lot to learn.
Last week Nancy came by, and she came with all the makings for this fabulous project! We had a lot of fun and Hayden learned that HOT glue is really HOT!
Here is where the idea came from if anyone is interested!

Both kids got a wreath for their bedroom doors!
We have been Helping at the "farm" a lot. The kids love feeding the cows....Notice big momma is sporting some tortilla on her back!
Packing in fire wood......
Our baby is getting big!
We had a burn pile and cleaned up around the pastures....Velvet was really helpful. She is NOT her mommy's girl. Not sure how we are going to teach her that the outdoors is FUN!
Hayden packed these 4 rocks about a half a block because they were "pretty neat". Once we got home and I started unloading my car he said he needed to get his stuff. I was thinking what do you have in here? Well he uncovered the 4 rocks and moved them to our yard. I haven't the heart to toss them yet he worked so hard to bring them home!
After that it was cartoons in front of the fire.
Sunday we were back at the "Yucky House" as the kids have deemed it.! It is getting better. The smell is still a bit much! We tore out the carpet and cleaned the yard some more!
Another couple weeks, strong cleaner, paint, new carpet, and a few windows and we should be back in business! Some mouse traps too! Mom and I were there Friday waiting in the driveway for my husband to come help me move out a couch, table, TV and shelf when we look over and you could see a mouse walking along the window. This is not for the squeamish! It is really amazing how some people live!
Wish us luck! We need it!
Cute pictures of the Valentine's wreathes :)
