Our new Swing Set! IN PROGRESS!!!

Well let me start by saying that if we don't have enough projects going we are starting a new one! Some may think we are stupid....I lean toward "enjoy and challenge"! I promised Hayden a Swing Set for his Birthday! For the last few months Josh and I have been trying to come up with a frugal way to build a Playhouse, Swingset, and Slide like the ones we have been seeing around for upwards of $500!

My dad heard a ad on the Country Store for this nice looking specimen, so Josh and I went to check it out! We decided it was a keeper! What a diamond in the rough! $50 spent!

Josh also had a awesome idea for a rack that we have. We are going to make it into a playhouse!

After taking the ladder off the slide and leaning it up to the "playhouse" (Use some imagination!) We all had to try it out! The kids LOVE it!

It looks much better now that my big bottom has cleaned off the dirt!

Josh, Hayden, and Velvet dug the holes today to get it ready to be permanent! We have a long way to go before she is beautiful, but so far I am happy and so are the kids! Life is good! My current budget is $200...Wish me luck! I will keep you posted as to how we are doing!

I better go Josh is tired of being Mom for the day! It is my turn! Have a good weekend we are planning to! Sportsman's Holiday here in Sweet Home and Taylor's Birthday Party!
