Hayden and Velvet's First Drag Race!

Sunday Grama and I took the kids to watch Pappy race! They started out looking CONCERNED! It was loud, and I think there must have been about a million people there!  Hayden got into it really quick, Velvet well she could have stayed at home....

As soon as he started seeing cars that weren't the norm he would want me to take pics. Here are some of his favorites!

We had a great spot in the pits...Close to the potty and the stands! And I would like to add that things have come a long way at the track since I was a little one! They have a playground now!! Seriously... All I remember is cars, cars, cars,....and always going home with a sunburn!

Michael went with us to the races also! The kids love that! Him and my dad were "fooling" around in the car Thursday before the races..Spun a bearing and had to pull the motor. On Saturday evening when he came to get my mom it was still not running! It is amazing how fast he can work when it is something for him...If you knew my dad you would understand!

Well that was our fun at the races! I am pretty sure we will be going back again! Summer only lasts so long, and we are going to make the most of it!

Today was our last day for the Summer Reading Program at the Library. I will try and blog tomorrow about all the fun we had there, but I have a lot of Birthday planning to do, and Josh is off for the next 9 days! Wish me LUCK I will so be needing it!
