Gardening and a Day with Dad!

Thursday was great the weather was beautiful! Velvet has not been feeling so well , but we still went outside. She refused to be left in the house with dad.

Josh finally came out to mow the lawn, and I talked him into moving Velvet's swing so it would swing better and not so crooked! She LOVES it as you can see! Hayden also loves his. Of course he waited until the moment Josh came out to fall off when I was pushing him, after Josh has already informed me I am pushing him to hard and high! So here is Hayden bawling and I am telling him how sorry I am for pushing him to high. Between sobs he says to me..."Do it again Momma!" Then resumes crying! It was priceless! After a couple minutes he was back on the swing happy as ever. All he had to say was "Not so high Momma!"

Friday I went to work, but Josh took the kids out all over! He took the kids to the Skate park, The "big slide Park", and to a goat farm! Here are the pics he took! It is seriously impressive!

That was dads day with the kids! He took them to the park twice! I think that he is as tired of being in the house with them as I am! I also think that he does much better with the kids when I am not around!

Once I got home the kids and I went out back to do some yard work. I dug up a flower bed and moved some plants around, while the kids played in the dirt. We had a bucket of sand in the garage we dumped for them! It was a big hit. So were the worms!

I suppose the turtle with have to move outside soon and get filled with sand, my luck however is that it will be NO fun in the turtle!

I tried to blog yesterday, but our Internet was down. I got a bunch done yesterday because my mom came down in the afternoon and entertained the kids! I got the whole house cleaned, weeds out front pulled, the back porch cleaned up. It was a good feeling to get so much done! Mom and I also took the kids for Ice Cream Cones and then at them at the Skate Park so all the little kids could look at up like we are NUTS! But Hayden Loved it!

Velvet is still sick. I thought it was just her teeth coming in, but the last 2 days she has had Vomiting at night? Not sure. I suppose it still could be her teeth. It appears that she is getting lower molars on both sides. They are very swelled. She still has diarrhea. She is pretty miserable. My poor little baby! She is a trooper though! Hayden went home with Grama last night, so we are getting ready to go get him! I have to remember the camera! Saturday he was packing around his"chicks" they are full grown chickens now! It was all to funny! And I forgot the Camera at home! Looks like no sunshine today, but I guess we will just make the best of it!
