A Day at the CIRCUS!

To be honest....from a parents perspective this was a "Hurry up it is all most here!...Thank God that is over" Moment! Starting with the rain, and ending with a headache...I am just happy that the kids seem to enjoy it! I am sure it is going to be one of many!

Hayden liked most all of it. He always had a smile or was wearing that face of wonder!

Velvet had a really hard time sitting still! She hated the clown and cried every time he came out. Otherwise I thought she did really well for being so young!

There was A LOT of people there, and seating was not very fun. It was wet and muddy so the bleachers were wet and muddy from being walked on....They were tiny and I am a short little thing! My knees touched the person in front of me. In the future I would do things a bit differently! Good learning lesson for mom! I was lucky however because my mom went with me. I sat next to a pregnant woman that had brought her 2 kids. One older than Hayden and one the same age as Velvet. She lost her purse below the bleachers in the mud puddle. I was feeling really sorry for her!

I am still taking the kids to the Strawberry Festival next weekend and maybe the parade too. I am smart I am already working on getting some backup! My mom is not excited about going, but she will be....And Nancy just doesn't know yet....!

Well Wish me luck tomorrow I promised Hayden a FROG and I have to catch one!
