Christmas gifts....

The kids have a lot of teachers this year.... So I picked something that would cost me nothing to make. Josh brings these 2x4, and 2x6 pieces home from work all the time. This was also a project the kids could help and be involved with. The kids helped paint and sand the pieces.

The 2 snowmen are done... 2 trees to go.

For dance all the other girls have "dance clothes". This is Velvet's first time in dance so we have NO fancy stuff...I made the legwarmers last week out of $ store socks...They were a success, but needed some tweaking. I got some elastic thread from Joann's, and when I saw the toe socks at Walgreen's 3pr for $10 I was very excited! They were a little softer and more stretchy than the $ store pair.

This is how they have came out so far.

Today I purchased some stuff to make soap, and some hand scrub....We shall see how that all turns out. I always have a few projects waiting to be finished...

I am trying to get everything ready for Velvet's Birthday..It is getting closer and closer. She asks me EVERY morning...Is it my Birthday today? I keep wanting to tell her lets hope not. No one will show at the rate the weather is going. Here in Oregon we are pretty WIMPY if you ask me. Luckily Velvet is so excited about going to Wacky Bounce she could be the only one there and it wouldn't dampen her spirits! Saturday is creeping up fast I had better get things finished up!
