The Santa Box....

The highlight of the month is the Santa Box.... This year it has been more fun than in the past, because the kids are older....So they understand if they are not good that day then Santa wont leave "the note" and instead of previous years about telling them where to go this year it is more like a riddle.

Here is the Santa Box. I made it 3 years ago when I saw the idea in a magazine.

Every day/night if we have been "good" and for kids that is a loose term! We get to pull a drawer and there is a note. Sometimes it big like the Blow up Snowman, or sometimes candy, or a craft.

One night it was coloring...

This was a FLOP! I saw it online to make something "better" than salt dough. HA! That was a joke. It turned out to be a lot of fun for the kids, but a hell of a big mess for MOM!

While you are molding it, it stays stiff the minute you let go....You get GOO.

Last night was a Movie and Cotton Candy!

I was feeling a little left out...I went to the kitchen to clean up and when I came back it was GONE!!!

Help I love Cotton Candy! I will be hitting the $ store for more!

The kids and I also made Christmas Trees out of pine cones, and we did the Salt dough. So much for these online ideas. More pics soon! Christmas is so fun for the little ones! 

Wish me luck I am taking the kids for Christmas pictures tonight! O Hayden how I love you! I need to remind myself that all day! Other wise everyone at Wal-mart will think I am a bad mother around 6pm tonight!
