The kids and I worked on Caleb, Issac, and Michael's Christmas gifts. I figured that we should mix it up this year since giving money is a bit boring.
Mom and I combined the $ and I rolled them up so they didn't know how much they were getting until they unrolled it. Hayden was Very helpful with the decoration.
Yes we did the Gingerbread house. The kids consumed A LOT of sweets. Yes even more than I normally allow which is a lot!
As always Hayden was VERY type A! But they had a great time! They have been eating it everyday since Christmas. It is almost scraped down to brown again.
Last year Christmas was COMPLETELY overwhelming. With the House burning down My mom was buying everything. This year I had some rules to follow. Since we like to garage sale and the kids drag home all kinds of well loved toys. I decided ahead of time 1 TOY. I saw this and thought it was pretty appropriate.

For Christmas Eve we wrapped up all the Makings for a Movie night. Both kids got a movie, PJ"s, and a snack.
We watched 2 Tinkerbell movies and snuggled on the couch in our Jammies.
Christmas morning was good the kids were excited.
This is Velvet's one "Toy" she has been seeing them on TV and asks for them all the time.
I got some educational Movies for Hayden.
Velvet is getting better with Puzzles so she got a new one! Along with her
"Special Books" She likes those too!
I got them both a game. It is nice to interact as family! This is helpful with that, and keeps the TV OFF!
Hayden's Toy.
They also both got a CD player for there rooms and some Kids, and Bible Songs.
Then is was to the stockings!
Thank You Nancy for the stuff you sent over! They LOVED the cups you sent!
After that was over we headed to moms for a low-key Christmas Dinner! No Dressing up, Rushing, it is all just easygoing!
My mom got both kids a Dream Light!
They got some nice toys that they can share from My Brother and his Family!
On the way home I asked if they had a GOOD Christmas. I thought Hayden was going to cry he said yes, but he didn't get a IPAD!
Little did he know it was waiting for him at home. We bought a Tablet for them.
V was excited.
I hope you all had a Great Christmas and are enjoying your time off with Family! I know I am! No School is also nice we have been trimming fruit trees, cleaning up around the house and going over to help Grama! Will Blog again soon I hope!
