Making adjustments......

Well I keep telling my mom..Things are great, change is good, new house is fine, You know look on the brighter side..... This week was the first time we have tried to do any sort of sewing project in the NEW PLACE. Things are NOT alright! I know we were obviously spoiled by all the space we previously had, but to go from 10,000 square foot to 1,000. I just can't explain how hard it is to do a project on the floor with the kids, then move to a different tiny spot thinking it will be better.... Bottom line Mom has to move, or Josh and I will be building a CRAFT/SEWING Garage!

For starters when skimping on buying something DON'T let it be the ruler....Because your mom might just give you this as the next best thing!

Yes a piece of flooring that is 10 ft long...I ran out yesterday, and no longer balked at the $7 for the ruler! I happily bought it!

After attempting to work over the stairs, we were forced to drag a table upstairs.

Mom is so funny. Her and I combine our $ and were able to get a really nice machine previously. She was always complaining about it. It would beep at her and she would yell at it.... Anyway since the fire we have been borrowing other peoples machines, and finally bought our own cheap machine. Today she says boy that machine we use to have was really nice. I just smiled! What do you say.

We worked on a diaper bag today for a baby shower and some other stuff to go with it. I figure another day and we will be done. The kids were very helpful.... I so love them.

Earlier this week we went up and helped my mom and see Great Grama...... The kids managed to find a dead bird.  The fun didn't last long before Grama tossed it over the river bank! Hayden was going to grab it right up, and she persuaded him to use a stick... It is always interesting to watch them learn and see something new. Even if it is dead... Remember we are Cascadians!

Here is one of Hayden's favorites. Mom and I cut the blackberries and tree branches off this car in the yard. He is just DYING to get in it. If you know my dad this is just one of his many fine specimens! He has a whole story about driving it in the 60's!

Hayden wrote his name this week! I was VERY excited! All by himself with no help! 3 years 7 months!

Nancy here is the dreaded glue by yard project that was terrible!

We are a little over half done and can't wait to see you!

Tonight I cleaned out the garage some more and brought in shoes! The kids loved trying on every pair. Don't know why I keep them I go from slippers, to sneakers, to flip flops!

Last but not least I got 2 snow slides at a garage sale yesterday...Who knew they would be so much fun? Hours of entertainment!

Well Tonight it time change.... So I am losing a hour. I really hate that!  Josh is off tomorrow and I am sure we will work on some fun project. Well I suppose I should get ready for bed like everyone else! Enjoy the pictures!
