I wish it felt like Christmas!

This year it is hard to get in the mood for Christmas.... We have a tree, but I haven't decorated much otherwise. I hung up some lights at mom's in hopes to brighten her spirits, but I don't think that it is working there either. I am so busy trying to get things ready for Velvet's Birthday (finishing our own remodel so we can use the space), and helping my mom I am just exhausted. Yesterday I managed to fall down the stairs from the top all the way to the bottom! I am a bruised sore mess today, and if that wasn't enough last night when I was painting the ceiling standing on  a 5 gallon bucket I fell off...Wore some paint, hurt my arm, and my shin feels broke. I still have a list of things to accomplish before V's b-day the first of which is GET HAND RAIL INSTALLED on stairs!

Enough about that...Mom's house is getting better...Josh and I got the floor down in the kitchen, dining room, and living room and even with only one coat of varnish it looks pretty good! We bought some new cabinets for the kitchen....They were spendy so we are saving for upper cabinets!

Hayden has been enjoying the TV thanks Kathy! It gets more comfy every time I go, but it is still NOT home! Mom and dad have been bickering....It is really hard to lose all your stuff! And your house of 25 years!

On a brighter note the kids and I made Sugar Cookies today, and another Pumpkin Pie for Pappy! Hayden has a new system for the picture taking...Hands over the face..I LOVE it!

Once mom came to town we went to the grocery store...Guess who was there! The Weinermobile! Hayden was excited about it, but wouldn't stand there without me or Grama, so I opted out... Sorry Grama!

The kids got some glow in the dark whistles! Josh just LOVES them... almost as much as he likes the recorders, and the hand bells I gave them!

Well Wish us luck tomorrow we are going to town to so a little shopping for party stuff for V, and some other fun things like Mouse Traps..... O yes and V is getting her 2 year pics taken! I will try and be a better blogger, but currently it is hard to get excited about anything!
