Staying Busy!

Well this week we have been keeping busy with chores! We Picked our Pumpkins! Earlier this year when we planted seeds with Nancy Hayden planted 2 pumpkins and 1 squash! We had to bring them all in and clean out the garden!

Hayden thought he would pull them in... That was a joke I couldn't even to it!

After we finished up that little project my mom came up with a new one! She wanted to fix the rocks on her porch! The kids loved this project we got to go up in the woods and find flat rocks! I forgot my camera that day! We all had fun getting muddy and finding "treasures"!

Then we had to wheelbarrow the sand up front! The kids liked that too! Me not so much. Sand is heavy...2 extra kids makes it unbearable after 4 or 5 trips! I was tired!

I told mom we could just leave it as a indoor sandbox...She was not going for it! There was sand EVERYWHERE!

We had to take some time to let the chickens out!

One day this week we had a visitor! The kids LOVED watching him eat the nuts in the yard! I miss watching him too! I wish he would come back!

Josh finished the stairs this week and I am very happy about them! One more thing to check off the list!

We made time for some Marshmallow Roasting!

Talk about a MESS!

Hayden and I cleaned out squash and made a pie with them! DELICIOUS!

We all picked and Cleaned Elderberries to make jelly! Not Fun!

To keep the kids out of mom and I's way for just a little while I gave them a little sugar in measuring cups!

Velvet was very good about using one finger to get her sugar! Hayden on the other hand well he used anything and everything to get every drop! Kids are so funny!

Well that is it for today! I have started working on the closet under the stairs, and Hayden's Halloween Costume! Who knows what will be next! I will keep the camera handy! Enjoy the pics!
