Sleepless Nights: Pumpkins,Pumpkins,Pumpkins!!

Last week Nancy and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch! We picked a good day! We had the whole patch all to ourselves!

We tried really hard to get Hayden in the picture, but he is slow to warm up to new things!

Velvet loved the goats!

This is how he looked for the first 15 minutes! Must get that from his DAD!

But eventually he warmed up and wanted EVERY pumpkin! I just tossed them out as soon as he turned around!

As soon as Hayden warmed up, Velvet warmed down!

I let V fall in a hole between the hay bales...Oops. She was nervous, but Nancy talked her into giving it another try!

The girl has many faces! Not sure what this one was?

But we ended on a happy note!

Big thanks to Nancy for going with us! We had a good day out!

Josh and I worked in the yard this week! When that happens we always have a fire outside.... For Josh and I it is a time to burn the junk laying around from the remodel. For the kids it is MARSHMALLOW Roasting! We have ran out of normal MM so we had to differ to GIANT campfire marshmallows that we never used at Hayden's Birthday! Another great big thanks to Nancy! Those will never again see a roasting stick!

She went in the tub chair clothes and all! Every time you went to pick her up she would grab for you with those hands!

Since we didn't have time Wednesday to carve our pumpkins Nancy came back on Sunday! We all worked on making a masterpiece! I must say Hayden's takes 1st place!

He was determined to use the "knife" as much as possible!

We have been lighting them every night. Hayden is very into it!

Last but not least guess who has learned how to get to the top bunk of Hayden's bed! Yes "Me Too" So I have to keep a good eye on her! She loves to go up there and throw anything and everything that is up there down! It is now also the kids new FAVORITE place to read nighttime stories! EVERY night we all get up there with pillows and blankets. There is a up side! They are contained and they listen better! I am however trying to talk them into reading in the new closet under the stairs! I can get up there fine, but getting down is challenging!
