On our way to Grandmothers house.....

Today we went to see Gam... It was a nice a relaxing day for me, but it always is when we go to see my mom. She plays with the babies, and I work on my own projects. I finished up Presley's Birthday present, and got them wrapped, painted some boards while Velvet was napping...That was not so fun, but has to be done! I only have about another 100,000 left and that is NOT an exaggeration!

I am not quite sure why I dread it so much because as soon as it is down and we can walk on it I will be SO happy and it is going to look so nice. Currently however it is a bit hard to see the forest for the trees!

While I was painting Hayden was playing in the yard. He found a big stick that he chased poor Abby with (Thank goodness she is fast).

Then there was a mole hole....My mom didn't really like that, but he is a boy, and it was only dirt.

One of these days Velvet is going to realize that she misses a lot by having nap time. Hayden learned that early on. It should be interesting to see when she decides that she is finished with them!
I thought that it might help Hayden to sleep through the night, but for the record that is NOT the case. The plus is that he goes to bed at night so much better! No fighting, crying, nothing , just books and Nite-Nite, so as far as I am concerned it was worth it to just move to quiet time and forgo the nap-time.

Once Velvet was up we went back in to play before we had to come home. Grama's house is so much better than...Well pretty much any other house because it is so big! We played tee-ball, rode our bike, skateboard, Momma and Gam had to chase Hayden around the house and "get him" he doesn't know that is called Tag yet. Needless to say we had a fun filled day and made a huge mess at Gam's!
