I have been very busy lately with PROJECTS! Josh says I'm a sucker, but I really do love working on these things! Hayden and Velvet's AM school asked me to make a Bible Puppet for Chapel. They had one that was falling apart, so I brought it home, and put it in the table for inspiration. After about a week I had a plan in mind came up with this in a couple evenings.
Of course the kids helped!
I'm not sure how I missed getting a picture of it finished, but this is as good as it gets. It turned out really well. Everyone was very happy with it.
I found this project, and I have got the kids all excited about it... Once they are finished and filled with goodies I am taking the kids around to some of there friends houses so they can "sneak" up to the door and leave them....
They just hang on the door knob. It was another fun project for me. Just so you know Lindsey you and the girls were Velvet's first choice, but you live to far away!
Hayden and I made these for the teachers....
Velvet and I made these for her and her 3 favorite friends! They were super easy and very cute as far as headbands go.
Here is the project for Hayden's class. I told him we would have to choose a class for the gift because 2 classes is to many! Halloween was a easy choice since Little Promises is Christian based, Oak Heights will get the gift.
They were also super easy. Hayden was able to do a lot which is always my goal.
Currently Mom and I are working on a pink Tutu for Velvet for dance, I am trying to decide on a Thanksgiving Project for the kids classes and teachers, and I was asked to help with the School Auction today. I am pretty sure I am volunteering at both schools on Halloween. I am also trying to finish up the last few bits to Hayden's Costume.
He will be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle this year. Velvet is being good to me by reusing a costume that was Hayden's She will be a Pumpkin!
My mom Sprung on me yesterday that she is leaving for Pennsylvania Monday. Good thing that we plan ahead around here.... Hopefully her Sister is ready for some unexpected company! I know that the kids will miss her a bunch! We have already printed out a map so we can track Grama's trip. Might has well make it educational.
I hope everyone is enjoying the AWESOME weather we are having! I hope it holds out for Halloween! Soccer is over so I will post the rest of the season soon......
