I have a huge stack of pallets out back.....The kitty likes to crawl up to the top to get away from the kids... Well he did until Hayden figured out how to get up there.

When the show gets really exciting she moves to the end of the chair.
I found this cute little project and decided that we should make them for Taylor and Presley. Hayden was excited to help.
Things got much more interesting when we started the seat. I have always encouraged the kids to help out with just about anything that we are doing.... So here I am cutting up Jeans and my other material into specific lengths and strips and sitting them aside. Velvet is picking up everyone and "trimming" it with her scissors. Once I was finished having a meltdown about that she decided to chop her binka then cry for the next 30 minutes because it NO work!
Finished they turned out cute. It really was a lot of fun!
We have also been going to the river when the weather permits.
The kids LOVE it.
I thought I was going to have to save Hayden a few times, but he never fell in.
Velvet on the other hand was head to toe SAND.
Moms new house has a awesome spot for the kids. Don't get me wrong the old house did too! IF you had the stamina that it required to hang on to a rope while holding a kid and scaling the mountain side, then when you are finished "Having Fun" you get to CLIMB back up. It is a 20 foot incline from her back door and it is easy for us and the kids! I think we will be spending a lot of time there!
