Sometimes all you can say is WOW....

Hayden and Josh were over at the neighbors and found this Baby opossum in the yard. Hayden came home to tell me daddy was getting a baby opossum and Josh found a bucket to toss him in.....

Josh's first words were you are always bring home animals..... Men Seriously!

You know me animal love that I am. I had to get it out and at least look him over. It is not everyday you catch a opossum! There was a little hissing, but he never bit me. I am convinced he is SO ugly he is cute...Josh thinks otherwise!

I called a wildlife refuge and they assured me that when a opossum gets hair, the eyes are open, and they are about 6 inches in length the mom tosses them off to be on there own. Seems wrong to me, but we took him out of town and relocated him.

The kids thought it was all very interesting. That is all I have for now. Well other than we STILL have a kitten that NEEDS a home, and by freak accident that I will explain later....baby bunnies may be in our future. 

Well I have to get moving. This morning it is carpet and furniture cleaning at moms, and tonight it is concrete pouring at home! Enjoy the opossum.
