The Strawberry Festival!

Friday after work Josh and I decided to take the kids to the carnival since he he works the weekends I didn't want him to miss out on all the fun! Last year Hayden was a bit scared of everything....This year he was excited about the rides! Unfortunately he is still so little he has to have someone else go with him.....Lucky Mom!

This is the Hot air balloon ride and our first!

Velvet was a bit frustrated that she couldn't ride, but after Pappy dropped Gam by that made things better!

Next was the carousel....At least the parent was free!

Hayden fell in LOVE with this....Talked about it all night. I told him "we will ask Nancy"

Once we were finally at home Velvet got outside to test out the sandbox....what a nightmare!

The night ended with Velvet tossing sand in Hayden's Face...Not quite sure how I went back in the house to clean....Josh in charge of the house for 2 days while I work....Lets just say he will never be house mom!

It is amazing how cute they can look at the beginning of the day and by the end...Well lets just say WOW.

Day number two! Surprisingly enough I talked my mom into another day of fun and Nancy came along too! We started out by going to the Parade!

The kids got a little candy!

                     It was lasting quite a while so we decided to leave early to eat!

Yes after eating we went back to the carnival! Mom said we wouldn't be able to go back until we robbed a bank, but it only happens a couple times a year. It is quite amazing how fast you can spend $40!


I took Hayden on this dragon...It was a tight fit. Plus I don't think he liked it....

He must have liked this one because he wanted to do it again today and I volunteered Nancy! Why should Mom get all the fun! I am so willing to Share this responsibility!

I gave Nancy the camera...She did take him on the Ferris Wheel! I think he liked it! Mom and I sat on a bench below while V was napping!

He was still talking about it last night so it must have be memorable!

This one is quite funny for me! I get Hayden up there to go on it....The sign reads "NO OPEN TOED SHOES" Well that leaves me and Nancy out! Sorry Mom! I laughed the ENTIRE TIME! Nancy thought I was a bit mean, but it was hilarious!

Mom claims Hayden didn't like the bridge....But maybe it was her? Look at them holding up traffic!

All in all I think they both liked it too! Maybe we will talk her into another one sometime!

Just enough tickets to go back on the Carousel. Hayden didn't want a horse.

Velvet hadn't been up for to long so she looks a bit grumpy! Nancy looks like she was having a good time though!

After all that we had Strawberry Shortcake, French Fries, and Shaved Ice....WHITE SHIRTS?

I think we all had fun so it didn't matter! The weather was awesome! It was all good! Velvet and I are up, and have had Breakfast. Hayden on the other hand is still in bed... 9:02 and still sleeping! He was up once last night for all of 1 minute to yell mommy, and then kiss and hug me? Have no idea what that was all about! Whatever I felt loved.

I think we are going to go to the woods today. We can't waste these beautiful days! Everyone enjoy the weather today.
